4. Obdobie Vianoc
5. Mjasopust
The intention of the musical work is to utilize folk instruments, which today's society labels as old, intended for contemporary interpretation. Through compositional techniques and broadened technique of playing instruments, I wanted to bring folk instruments into current musical issues and thus, define our future through the past. In addition to using traditional instruments, I also work with Slovak rhythms - ,,duvaj'', which are significant for folk bands and the Slovak ,,Podhalan'' scale.
